 Heute taucht die kommende Autobiografie das erste mal bei Amazon.co.uk auf. Changeling soll am 10. Mai 2007 erscheinen. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Changeling-Mike-Oldfield/dp/185227381X/ http://www.joncollins.net/..mike-oldfields-changeling/ Ich habe heute noch mit einer Lektorin gesprochen bezüglich einer eventuellen deutschen Ausgabe. Zur Zeit wird das Manuskript gelesen. In etwa einem Monat wird entschieden ob die Autobiografie bei diesem Verlag in deutscher Sprache erscheinen wird. Die geplante Mike Oldfield Autobiografie ist mindestens einem deutschen Buchverlag zur Übersetzung / Veröffentlichung angeboten worden. Der Verlag wartet zur Zeit auf das orginal Manuskript und entscheidet dann "wenn der Text gut geschrieben ist" ob die Autobiografie in deutscher Sprache veröffentlicht wird. Und das ist Ernst gemeint: Dieser Verlag hat bereits ein Angebot einer Autobiografie-Veröffentlichung von Robbie Williams "mit Bauchschmerzen" abgelehnt , weil der Text einfach zu schlecht geschrieben war. Ich persönlich gehe davon aus, dass Jon Collins / Mike Oldfield beste Arbeit leisten und das Buch in deutscher Sprache erscheinen kann ;-) Da meine Informationen leider alle ungelegte Eier sind, veröffentliche ich den Verlagsnamen lieber noch nicht. Ich stehe aber in engem Kontakt mit der sehr charmanten Verlagsleiterin. Hello you ! It has surely been a time of big changes and realisations these last few months, not least of which has been the writing of my Autobiography. This is nearing completion with the help of my co writer Jon Collins and hopefully will be published this year if not early next. During the process ofbringing this book to life I have realised a great many things about myself and my position in the scheme of things.( Oh for the gift of hindsight ! ) This will surely influence my future personally and creatively. I have contractually three and a half more years to work on a new piece of music so this will give it a chance to evolve and mature nicely. Meanwhile look out for some promotion for the Platinum Collection , the book , and who knows what elsethe fates may send .
